FOR THURSDAY
Writing an essay: A weird sport!
-Task: Invent the rules for a new sport. As it is a weird sport, you can use any equipment (not necessarily sports equipment) and play it anywhere.
-Read the model writing from the Student's Book, p. 68, for help.
You can also read p. 65, ex. 5 and 10 to get some ideas.
-Verbs you can use: (add any other verb that you find in the model writing)
pass, throw, hit, kick, head, dribble, score,...
IMPORTANT:
-Write the task but do not send it to me until I tell you to do so!!

GIVING ORDERS AND INSTRUCTIONS
-To give orders and write instructions, we sometimes use the IMPERATIVE form of the verb:
Wear a helmet! (Affirmative)
Don't run near the pool! (Negative)
-To form the negative, we write "don't + verb"
-Imperatives don't have a subject:
You wear a helmet!
c. Open your workbook on page 45 and complete exercises 1 and 2. Use the Imperative.

Hello again? How is everybody doing?
Did you follow all the instructions? Did you copy the grammar boxes (can, must, should) in the Coronavirus handout? Did you remember to use a red pen for the boxes and corrections?
One more tip!
Why don't you connect using Hangouts? This way, you can help one another, ask questions, discuss your answers, give each other advice... Can anybody let me know if you are doing it?

TIP: Use a dictionary to help you with the vocabulary.

Writing: What an adventure!!
Imagine you are an influencer and you love adventure. Every year you go on holidays to exotic places.
Create an Instagram story (PPT OR BOOKLET) where you show your holidays in different places.
Talk about:
1. About you: (write a paragraph)
-Where do you usually spend your holidays?
- Why do you choose these types of holidays? Is it all perfect or do you ever find difficulties?
-Who do you usually travel with? (Include a photo with the people, describe what they are wearing (to know who they are), talk a little bit about their personality...
2. Your holidays: (add a photo for each place)
-Where was the photo taken?
-What are doing in the photo?
-One of the photos could be a suitcase; explain what you are taking with you and why you may need it.
-REMEMBER TO USE PRESENT SIMPLE AND PRESENT CONTINUOUS.
